The LAMI National Conference held in Los Banos during the Holy Week

He Was 100% Man
According to John 1:14, Jesus became flesh and made His dwelling among us. Why is His humanity so important? In Hebrews 4:15, Jesus was tempted in every way, just as we are. As such, Jesus can sympathize with our weakness as humans. What can we learn from the way Jesus handled temptation? According to 1 John 3:5, Jesus came to earth in human form so that He could die a physical death and take away our sins. How would we all be affected, if we had no potential for escape from our sins?
Jesus is the key to membership in God’s family. When He stooped to our level by becoming a man, He made it possible for us to relate to Him and for God to relate to us through Him.
He Was 100% God
Who is Jesus, and how was it possible that Christ’s human body held the whole deity and glory of God?
According to John 1:1-3, Jesus existed from the beginning. From the beginning, Jesus was with God, and Jesus was God. Here, the Bible establishes the inseparable nature of Jesus and the God of the Universe. The following verses provide further evidence that Jesus is 100% God:

1.Set your personal goals. Without a personal goal, you would only end up laboring but not achieving. But if you know your goal, you can choose your activities, spend wisely and plan according to your long range or short-range targets. Example: To finish my course within 4 years with an average grade of 2.25 or better. 2.Manage your time well. Although most people hear about wasting time and just as much about organizing it, too few of them take any positive steps. Reduce on your major time wasters and then decide on how to utilize the saved time wisely. 3.Attend class ALWAYS and sit in the first three rows. Sitting in front causes you to be alert. You will hear the professor sharing the most important facts of the subject. The professor may notice you and give credit. 4.Get to know your teachers- their likes and dislikes, grading system and preferred types of examinations. You can observe or you can ask the former students. 5.Take good notes and establish your personal library. A student without notes and books lack discipline, industry and commitment. Keep your notes neatly, label properly and arrange them systematically. Buy a marker to highlight the important parts in your notebook, handouts or personal textbook. 6.Avoid sickness. Review lessons way ahead of scheduled examinations to avoid mental stress. Get enough rest and sleep. Maintain regular exercise and observe proper nutrition. Stay away from individuals who teach you vices. 7.Do not neglect your spiritual life. The Bible declares that those who know their God shall be strong and do mighty deeds. Commit your life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Read your Bible everyday. Spend time with God in prayer. Fellowship with other Christian students. Influence the people around you to Christlikeness. 8.Handle your finances efficiently. Practice self-control and avoid impulsive buying. Learn to live within your budget. Identify whether the object of your eye is a NEED or just a WANT. Conserve on your existing resources. 9.Choose your friends. Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character." (1 Corinthians 15:33). Look for people with wholesome characters and do not be deceived by external appearances. Proverbs 27:17 declares “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Do not allow other persons to pressure you to join their organization. 10.Prepare well for your examinations, quizzes and recitations. The secret is regular time for studying. Ask the former students or even the teacher to find out how the previous examinations were given. Identify the best time and place for your study.
