Encounter God Retreat
An EGR is a weekend retreat, away from routine distractions, for an exclusive time with God to receive freedom from all bondages.
During or after the retreat, each participant is expected to:
Receive freedom from all bondages Make new acquaintances Establish friendship with other Christians
Receive emotional and physical healing Learn how to minister to another person Be full of the Holy Spirit
Some church leaders claim that the attendance to a 3-day EGR is equivalent to one-year attendance to a Sunday service. It is a life-changing experience. Countless testimonies of miraculous healing, restoration of relationships, deliverance from demonic spirits and freedom from bondages have been seen in these retreats.
Preparation
It is helpful for you to complete first the four pre-EGR bible studies. You need to have a clear understanding of your salvation and you need to learn how to open the Bible and pray a basic prayer. The registration fee ranges from P300 to P1000 depending on the location. Consult your cell leader or BS leader if you desire to attend but have financial limitations.

I, the LORD will hasten it in its time.” It also signifies that Christian disciples are called together as members of the Family of God.

Stairway to Multiplication
How do you see yourself 5 years from now?
Vision is very important. “Where there is no vision, the people perish…” Prov 29:18. Without it, the people cast off restraint, but with a God-given vision we can win the lost, raise up a mighty army of disciples, take an entire city and see the Gospel of Christ spread to nations and throughout the entire earth.
Remember that when God created man and woman, He blessed them with a vision of fruitfulness and multiplication. Imagine how the two new individuals would fill and subdue the earth. The only way to comprehend the great task is to see it with God’s eyes. Vision is being able to see what God sees. God wants us to see and understand His plan and purposes so we can become partners with Him in accomplishing His work. If you embrace God’s vision, it would be easier for you to adopt and implement the G12-Cell strategy (G12- government of twelve).

"Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. (Isa 54:2)
For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities. (Isa 54:3)
God wants us to dream WINNING and DISCIPLING:
1) MULTITUDES . Isa 60: 22 The smallest family will multiply into a large clan. The tiniest group will become a mighty nation. I, the Lord, will bring it all to pass at the right time.” (NLT)
2) NATIONS (Genesis 12:2; 17:4-6). The blessing of Abraham belongs to us too! (Gal 3:29). "As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. No longer will you be called Abram ; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you very fruitful; I will make nations of you, and kings will come from you. (Gen 17:4-6)
3) WORLD. Psalm 2:7-8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.
The marks of a True Disciple
Read the passage below and note the marks of a true disciple of Jesus Christ:
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. (John 15:5-8)
1. God is glorified by much fruit.
2. Only Christ’s disciples bear much fruit.
3. Much fruit means we do it Christ’s way.
How do we help you achieve your destiny?
The Great Commission:
Matthew 28: 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority is given to Me in Heaven and in earth. 19 Therefore go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the world. (MKJV)
In obedience to the Great Commission, Lakas-Angkan prepared a curriculum to help you learn the principles and skills of a successful Christian and a great leader.
